Hors d’oevres…who needs anything else?

Dinner tonight evolved into ALL hors d’oevres. Ah….delicious. I made homemade pesto today so we had that on homemade bread as well as thick, succulent slices of vine-ripened tomatoes. The colors were beautiful! Dave picked up some shrimp that we boiled up and dipped into clarified garlic butter. We had farmer’s market green beans (actually, they started out PURPLE and turned green as we cooked them. We’ve never seen beans like THAT before!) We made some more crab puffs and reheated some corn on the cob. Deeeeelish! Everyone around here loves it when we never make it past the appetizers!
