31 Days of Christmas Cookies

We’re deep into final exams, Christmas concerts, swim meets, Christmas parties, and SNOW! I want to remind you all of the special 31 Days of Christmas Cookies project that we did last year at Christmas time. I was browsing through all the things I WANT to be baking right now. I’ll be real honest with you: I haven’t baked a single thing this past week. I just haven’t had time. If I can make it through the middle of next week, I’ll be able to jump back into some serious Christmas baking. In the meantime, let me just remind you of a few of our favorites!

Day 1: Grandma’s Dutch Jan Hagel Cookies — these are perennial favorites and so fast and easy to make.

Day 2: Soft and Chewy Crackle-top Molasses Cookies — the very best molasses cookie recipe I’ve found.

Day 3: Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars — my go-to recipe when I need to bring a dessert type snack somewhere.

Day 4: Snickerdoodles — aromas and flavors from my childhood!

Day 5: Mint Brownies — combines two of my favorite flavors in the world.

Day 6: Dreamsicle Fudge — this yummy fudge is a delicious treat for folks who aren’t fans of chocolate. It’s also a delicious treat for all the rest of us!

That’ll get you started…I’ll be back tomorrow!
