This is a GREAT weekend to work on last minute Christmas gifts. It looks like most of the country has inclement weather so it’s a perfect weekend to spend time in the kitchen making things for the people we love.
Some of my perennial favorites include:
Homemade Caramel and Fudge Sauces
Tins of Traditional Chex Mix
Tins of Muddy Buddies Chex Mix
Fudge: Dreamsicle Fudge, No-fail Chocolate Fudge, and Peanut Butter Fudge
If you’re giving gifts to anyone on Three Kings Day (January 6) you even have time to make
It helps to start these gifts a little earlier than the second weekend of December. BUT!!!! I always have a few people that I don’t end up giving gifts to until early January and these ideas can still work well for those folks.
Laura has a few thoughts on Christmas gifts from the Kitchen as well.
Of course, a nice assortment of Christmas cookies in a decorative tin is always a welcome gift. Most Christmas baked goods are a hit during this busy season. I know that I frequently serve guests some of the yummy gifts I receive!
UPDATE: Check out Sarah’s cute idea for Christmas gifts. Cake in a cup.
